African innovator with the best social impact


On May 5th 2014, the African Innovation Foundation (AIF) announced the winners of the Innovation Prize for Africa (IPA), the top innovators on the continent creating solutions to Africa’s everyday challenges.

Selected from about 700 applications from 42 countries, Dr Melesse Temesgen won the special prize for the innovation with the best social impact for inventing Aybar BBM.
